What is your style?

Over the years my style has evolved and grown but laughter, fun and movement are my constants. I love photography that moves beyond the static and tells a story and photography that captures joy and my clients' authentic self. When I deliver a gallery, I want you look at it and say, "yep, she captured us perfectly" or "I've never felt more beautiful."  or "How did she get that? That moment was so quick!"

My job is so much more than: let me pose you under that tree...now smile. When we work together, we will tell stories and I will probably trip and fall and make a fool of myself. I'll also chase slivers of sunshine obsessively and force you to play silly games that make the time fly by. Above all, I promise we will have fun. Scout's honor.

When and how will I receive my photos?

Within approximately 2 days of your session, I will post a sneak peek for you on my Facebook and Instagram business pages (make sure you go page!). The sneak peek usually consists of 1-3 images from your session that I share so you cna see just a little preview of your photos.

For my portrait clients, you will recieve your full online gallery of images within 2 weeks of your session.

For my brides and grooms, you will recieve your full online gallery within 8 weeks of your wedding.  

Can you travel to clients who do not live in your area?

Definitely! Anytime I can venture off to a new location, I am a happy girl. Send me a note and we will chat through details. Additional travel fees will apply.

What is my deposit used for + what if i have to reschedule my session time?

All of my packages require clients to pay 25% of the session fee upon booking as a deposit. This initial deposit reserves your session time. That being said, life happens! I understand that kiddos get sick, emergencies pop up and life gets out of control at times. You can reschedule your session up to 48 hours before the session date and your deposit will transfer over to a new session date. However, if you cancel your session and do not reschedule, you forfeit your deposit.  Cancellations or rescheduling must be submitted 48 hours before your session date or your deposit will be forfeited. If you don't show up for your appointment or you are more than 20 minutes late, your deposit will be forfeited and you must reschedule a new appointment and pay a new deposit. (Works a little differently for weddings, brides contact me directly!)

Because mother nature can be unpredictable and most photo sessions are outside, I may need to postpone or reschedule your session to make sure you receive the most ideal conditions. If weather issues arise, I will contact you as soon as possible to work out a new schedule and your deposit will still transfer. Please let me know of any schedule changes or issues as soon as possible and I will try to be flexible and accomodate your needs.

Can I print my photos anywhere?

Yes you can! All of my wedding packages and most of my portrait packages* include all digital files for you to download and print as you please. You can also order prints through your online gallery and the fabulous local photo lab, ProDPI. I recommend them above all other companies for their superb quality and customer service. 

*If you choose a package that does not include digital files, you can always opt to purchase them at a later date!
